The sea appears to be taking over Cartagena.
Hurricane Sandy is not a direct threat to us while in Cartagena, but she is affecting the Caribbean Sea.
The beaches are filled with water rather than cabanas and people.
The streets are flooded making it difficult to get around town.
The street in front of our building entrance even has standing water.
Many people are frustrated as it makes it difficult to get around and affects business
{those beach vendors can't be happy..}
but as for me
I believe there is something that is extraordinarily peaceful about sitting and watching the white caps roll in.
