This was the highlight of my day...

We had a 10 am reservation to be transported to Baranquilla for a trip to the "apple store" and another stop at Price Smart.
Two hours in the bumpy backseat of a truck. Not the perfect way to spend a Sunday, but mango frozen yogurt made it better.
We made it to the 'apple store' which was located in a real mall. We lucked out with a English speaking employee who basically filled us in that my hard drive likely needed to be replaced and their repair guy could take a look at it. However, repair guy works Monday through Friday. The conversation continued with Matt and I asking if we could leave the computer for repair guy to look at and fix. A big fat no. We would have to return when repair guy was actually at work. Matt explained the problem with this situation and English speaking guy gave us some suggestions. Then, Matt's dear sweet driver chimed in and offered to return to Baranquilla the following day to deliver the computer. Problem solved. Or one of them. I still don't have an operating laptop, but we are one step closer to making it happen. We spent the rest of the afternoon checking out the real mall and stocked up on our essentials at Price Smart {almond milk, cereal, cheese, cranberries, fruit snacks}
Once we arrived back in Cartagena we noticed an unusually large number of kites flying. The driver explained to us that August is the month of the kites and today is the day of celebration. This picture from my phone in a moving truck really doesn't do it justice, but there were kites scattered through out the sky.

It made me want to fly a kite.
