house tour || bedrooms & upper level

Here's part two of our house tour.

I have to admit looking at these photos make me want to
choose some paint colors now
figure out what to put on these walls,
and make some progress.
Master Bedroom
Our bedroom and Lauren's nursery are both on the main level of the house.

I would have to say I think the master is currently one of the most overlooked rooms in the house. I can't quite find the right bedding/color scheme which is delaying curtain, paint color, and artwork decisions.
So I will continue to look for the perfect, dog friendly, luxurious, family friendly, bedding.
In the meantime,
I'll just switch up the pillows.

{This sign was my latest DIY project. These 'niches' continue to provide a design challenge to me and I was inspired by a piece by my favorite HGTV-ers
Matt has noted that the placement of such a quote could be a potential issue when Lauren is of reading age...
What if you fly?...
Placed above an open entry way?
While we believe Lauren is brilliant, I don't think she's reading yet, so for now, it stays.}

There you have it.
Our Texas home.
I am looking very much forward to providing more after pictures.

Now excuse me, I'm off to Pinterest to finalize some paint colors and begin a to-do list of projects.
