She's two...
and I won't make her hold the blocks from month to month and shoot 83 photos in the hopes of getting one to commemorate her monthly birthday.
I will do that on annually on her birthday
and I will continue to take lots of photos,
but Lauren has graduated from the blocks.
At two years old our Lauren Elizabeth McQuinn...
... is in the 80th percentile for height & the 20th for weight.
... is busy. and talkative. and in the last few days has started asking 'Why?'. I thought we had a while before that started.
... loves grapes, apples, peaches, strawberries, bananas, cheese, carrots with dip, and ketchup. A girl after my own heart.
... still loves her old favorites, books, dolls, and puzzles. Also loves to color, play doctor, and is starting to whip up some fun in the kitchen.
... also really enjoys helping Mom in the kitchen.
... is an avid Daniel Tiger fan. Loves Elmo. Has a liking for Elsa. Has always had a thing for Ariel. Is really into all things Pooh Bear since her recent meeting. And her eyes light up for Mickey or Minnie.
... loves to play outside. Lately we've been doing a lot of playing in the castle. Mom has to sit inside the castle with her and wait until the music plays and dance together.
... has been heard singing her favorite library songs as well as 'Ring Around the Rosey' and 'Patty Cake'
... loves 'Wheels on the Bus' and spotting buses around town.
... still has a thing for cows.
... took her first nap in her big girl bed today! We're in the process of transitioning and so far she seems pretty excited about it...
... gives the best 'grab your cheeks kisses' and 'squeeze tight hugs'
... is more independent by the day.
... still makes her parents hearts melt when we hear 'Mom, hold me' or 'Oh, Hi Dad'.
... has a mommy and daddy who love her so. xoxo
