fifteen + a fifth McQuinn

At fifteen months, this little girl....



... is a little girl. She runs, talks, has begun more imaginative play, and exerts her independence from time to time.
... says mom, dad, Buh, papa, blueberry & recently said grandma, and is a big mimicker, so she says a lot on the spot. We're working on please, milk, upstairs.
...is 31.5 inches & 21 lbs 10 oz. and is working on more teeth. Her second front tooth and another on the bottom.
...still loves books, her dolls {post Christmas there is a lot of them} and as of late is hosting many tea parties and making lots of lunches with her new table, tea set, & kitchen.
...loves to be outside, especially in her new play house in the backyard with our new puppy, Charlotte.


Meet Charlotte.


She's a Clumberton {clumber spaniel + wheaton terrier} and the latest addition to our family. We've discussed adding another dog since we came back to the US and decided now was the time.



From there it all went pretty fast, we wanted to go non-shedding & decided to stay away from a boxer since Bella is so perfect we were worried about being fair about expectations with another boxer. Charlotte was available immediately and Lauren and I picked her up from the airport on Tuesday.




Since then things have been a little crazy. Lots of standing outside in the cold, lots of 'no's", lots of paper towel & "thank goodness for wood floors & tile", but she is sweet. Lauren is in love, Bella is showing off her speed in the backyard, she remains uncertain, but is taking her new big sister role in stride and our hearts are full.






Full of paper towel, carpet cleaner, google searches on dog training, & coffee + lack of sleep,

but full.
