Bailey
Last weekend we said goodbye to our dear sweet Bailey.
She was the smartest, sweetest, and most loyal and proud dog I've ever known and our family was blessed to call her ours.
While we knew the time was fast approaching, the decision to say goodbye was still difficult.
She quite literally changed the lives of our family as she inspired my father to begin a small business in the pet industry, which lead to a move and and the growth of a family business.
For over 13 years, she amazed us with her intelligence, stayed close to us when we needed her the most, and became the trusted role model to all the furry members of our family.
While we know there will never be a dog quite like her,
we cherish that she was ours.
Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole. - Roger Caras

8 months
At 8 months, our sweet girl...
... still remains toothless.
... is full of energy. She crawls all over the place, loves to pull up onto furniture, and frequents her standing activity toy.
... can clap and loves to do it, especially when celebrating something she has done.
... takes two great naps, but still doesn't sleep through the night.
... likes books. Which makes the teacher in this mama very happy. She really enjoys taking all the books off of the book shelves. After she is through with that task, she can usually be found looking at a few.
I love watching those little chubby hands turn pages.
... still prefers fruit over vegetables. We are still working on figuring out exactly what foods are her favorites. It depends on the day. Some days she eats everything we give her {and there is a lot of clapping} and others she shakes her head and turns up her nose.
She really likes puffs and Cheerios. She would live off of them if we let her.
... she loves shoes. She prefers them in her mouth over her feet, but she can't get enough of them.
A girl after my own heart.
